Being Together

In a vibrant living congregation it is important for each of us, member or not, to find a personal connection that we can feel a part of. In pursuit of providing opportunities for those connections, Green Valley Presbyterian Church offers a variety of groups and activities to support you as you grow in relationship to your church family and in your faith. New groups and activities come together to meet the needs of our diverse and growing congregation.

Called to Serve

The heart of Christianity is expressed through service to others. The Lord said, "Feed my sheep." At Green Valley Presbyterian Church Christ's call to go and serve provides the foundation for our community involvement.

Programs of Christian Outreach

• FISH Program - ongoing food distribution support
  
• CROP Walk for Hunger - annual walk to raise money to aid hungry people worldwide
  
• Backpack Offering - back to school supplies for young people in need
  
• Adopt-a-Park Program - being good stewards
  
• Serving the Homeless - at local soup kitchens
  
• Christmas Food Baskets - holiday needs fulfilled

Other outreach ministries include financial aid for refugee families, Friends in the Desert providing homeless families with food and shelter, Heifer Project, financial support for disaster relief and emergency assistance for individuals and families in crisis.
